PTA golf is excited to collaborate with Manito Country Club to create the premier golf operation in the Inland Northwest. The Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) system combines the medical professional (PT), fitness professional, and golf professional to elevate the golfer to optimal levels of performance and health.

PTA Golf is bringing the expertise of Kelly Risse PT/TPI level 3 certified medical professional and Dylan Palmer PTA/Golf fitness professional to meet golf performance and health needs.

Kelly Risse PT/TPI level 3 medical professional

Kelly Risse is a co-owner of Physical Therapy Associates, an outpatient, sports rehab facility located on the south hill of Spokane, Washington.  PTA has a state of the art facility which includes not only the finest outpatient setting in Spokane, but an entire wellness facility.  The wellness facility now boasts a massage therapist, aquatic therapy with underwater treadmills, and group exercise classes and individual personal training open to the public.
Kelly's love for golf began in his teen years and he has now developed into the only level 3 TPI certified medical professional in Spokane, Washington.  He is specializing in golf analysis for injuries and injury prevention.  In addition to therapy for golf, PTA also offers "golf for health" group exercise classes intermittently throughout the year.
Kelly's educational background includes his bachelor's degree from Washington State University in biology and a masters in physical therapy from Eastern Washington University

Health

Our TPI Certified Expert and Physical Therapist Kelly Risse will provide a full body TPI health and movement screen to determine where you may have deficits in your ability to swing a club like you want to, to be stronger and safer.

Fitness

Our golf fitness expert and Physical Therapist Assistant Dylan Palmer will provide a fitness plan and direction to improve your rotational based strength, balance, and control through tri-planar movements specific to golf as well as providing direction to address issues noted in your TPI assessment, as well as addressing changes to your swing pattern with functional exercises.

Technique

Your golf pro or swing coach will continue working on the specifics of your swing and better understand how physical limitations may impact your ability to make changes.
